Story
On May 2nd 2023 we will be participating again in BENIDORM BANGERS, a navigational challenge from the UK to Benidorm with daily challenges along the route. Over 5 days we will make the long journey in our Leeds United branded car to raise money for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice in memory of Sara's mum, Susan McDonald.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
Wheatfields is an incredible hospice that looked after Susan during the end of her life. They treated her with kindness and dignity and we cannot thank them enough. The hospice only receives a third of its funding from the government which leaves a £2 million shortfall every year. That is why we are raising funds for them this year - to help them offer more patients the vital care they need in the hospice, at home and in the community.
Please give what you can.
Thank you, we really appreciate it!
