Dementia has affected many families and it's likely affected someone in your family or close circle just like it has mine. In May 2024 it will be the first year memory of my amazing Nana Aileen who was taken last year after she too battled with Dementia with the amazing support of her family, friends and professionals around her (those I like to call "Aileen's Angels").

I'm doing this trek not only in memory of her but also in memory of every other person/family it has cast its mark over, in the hope that I will raise even a small portion of money needed for funding to continue into bringing our future families a World without dementia.

At Alzheimer’s Society they are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and provide hope for a World without dementia tomorrow.

If you may very generously be able to give any amount of donation to my fundraising page it will be gratefully appreciated but if not (as I get times are hard for the many) even a share on your socials with a shout out will help massively in achieving my goal and raising much needed awareness to the cause.
