Darcie is fundraising for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Darcie's 'Brave-Positive-Strong' Wristbands
We are raising funds for the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity in support of our 10 year-old daughter, Darcie, who has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer.
The hospital, and their staff, have been incredibly supportive of Darcie, and us, since we received this devastating news. Darcie wanted to do something to raise money so that other families going through difficult journeys, like hers, can benefit from the charity’s amazing help and support.
Darcie has designed wristbands that feature the words ‘Brave, Positive, and Strong’, our new family mantra, inspired by Darcie's incredible resilience.
Darcie has expertly negotiated with a local business to purchase the wristbands, so that every penny donated goes to the charity. Each wristband is available for a suggested £3 donation. These funds will go directly to the hospital where Darcie is receiving care.
***There are two sizes - adult and youth - and two colours - pink and red - available. Please leave your name and preferred size(s) and colour(s) within the comment section***
Additionally, Darcie will more than likely need a blood transfusion during her treatment, so donating blood is another meaningful way people could help if they are able to.
We would love for you to take a selfie with your wristband (bonus points if taken during blood donation) and send it to Darcie, showing your support for her and the charity. Seeing pictures of friends and family with their wristbands, we know will give Darcie additional strength and support as she marches on towards ringing the bell!
Thank you for standing with us and for all the love and support we have received so far, it has been truly humbling.
