My Nan, Gwen Janes (Nanny flapjack), sadly passed away earlier this year, in her memory me and a friend will be raising money for Action Medical.

Race the Sun is a team challenge fundraising event for teams of two or four people, with the aim of completing three disciplines (cycling, hiking, and canoeing) in as fast a time as possible racing the sun on this triathlon-style adventure fundraising challenge.

Cycling: 34 Miles -> Hiking: 8 Miles -> Canoeing: 2 mile circular route.

*** side note- what i would like to do is not only raise money on behalf of my nan but for the memory of everyone / anyone else, with that in mind if you donate please let me know the know name of the person you want remembered and I will have their name printed on a t shirt that I will wear throughout the challenge. That way this becomes a lot more meaningful and they can be there the whole way. It's not compulsory but I hope it's embraced. ***
