We lost 9 year old George at Christmas from our friendship group. There was no explanation.

Heart-breaking for the community and devastating for the family, having no medical reason for him simply not waking up one morning on holiday adds to the incomprehension of why and how.

To show gratitude to the unique charity SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) for their on-going support to George's family, the least I can do is run my first Half Marathon around London's glorious Royal Parks in George's honour - a unique setting for a unique boy who would have loved everything these charitable parks in their own right have to offer.

George's Joggers are running as a team - many of us doing our first ever Half - and even a small donation will go a long way to help support many others. But, for us, every step will be for George.
