Story

After doing John O'Groats to Lands End last June and raising just over £60k for Jessie May and the Brain Tumour Charity, I was humbled when Jessie May asked me to become an official Ambassador for them at the end of 2023.

First task is a day behind bars in Bristol with the legendary promotor and businessman Barry Hearn and world class snooker players Jamie Jones, Stuart Bingham and (results dependant) Kyren Wilson.

Mobile phones and a pen and paper are the only luxuries allowed.

What could possibly go wrong??!!

Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home is a charity that provides exceptional palliative care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, in their own homes.

For the families who need them, the Jessie May nurses are like angels. They provide highly specialised, sensitive end-of-life care for children.

There are 16 of them at the moment, each one costing from £41,000.

It's an all encompassing service. From diagnosis, throughout life, at the end of life and in bereavement - Jessie May are a constant source of strength and support.

It's the service every parent hopes beyond hope that they never need. But for those who do, Jessie May are incredible.
