Story
So some of you may know, but now and again I enjoy to get out on a bike and in 2024 I wanted to get out and start setting myself some fresh challenges. In August I am undertaking a four day ride which is named as the Lap of Anglia. This is a lap of the East Angia Border that will see me ride over 100 miles day, to a total of 435, over 14,000ft of climbing and crossing into 5 counties. The charity that this is in aid of is the East of England Air Ambulance. The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 24/7 helicopter emergency medical service covering Beds, Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk. The EAAA doesn't receive regular government funding, with each call out costing on average £3,750 and a need to raise £17m a year from charitable donations to continue our lifesaving service. Working for the emergency services myself, I have witnessed first-hand how this vital service can change and save lives when needed to. I am asking for your support with this charity ride, looking to raise £500.00 and will be very gratefully for any donations that you which to contribute to a vital service.
