As many of you may know - last year I decided to stop drinking alcohol; get fit again and start training; and undertake an event during this year to raise funds for an amazing charity.
I am now over 400 days with no alcohol (!!) and on Saturday 5th October 2024 I am fighting as part of Charity Boxing Nights to raise money for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Saint Mary’s children’s hospital.
As a parent myself I can appreciate how important the work which the staff at NICU carry out is, for so many children. I sincerely hope you are able to support me by donating to a charity which has done so much to help countless families over the years and will continue to do so in years to come.
Each year, Saint Mary’s teams deliver over 13,000 babies, carry out 1,400 surgical procedures, support 120,000 outpatient and antenatal appointments and provide intensive care for 2,600 sick newborn babies.
Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We raise funds to make a difference for the people we treat – young and old – by making sure they receive the very best treatment in the very best facilities.
With the help of our supporters we:
• Enable the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment
• Fund pioneering medical research to improve our understanding of illnesses and how best to treat them
• Create welcoming, friendly environments that allow patients, and their families, to feel at ease during their time in our care.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
