Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
A year ago, I was diagnosed by prostate cancer. It has been an "interesting" 12 months going through the operation to remove the prostate plus the subsequent rehabilitation.
Things have improved a lot - much of which is linked to the support given by the doctors, medical staff and charities that have provided a massive amount of help throughout the whole process.
As such, I thought it would be good to try and give a very small amount back. Therefore, I have just signed up for the Sprint distance at the Blenheim triathlon on June 1st.
I appreciate that times are hard financially, but if you have anything you could spare, I am trying to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK to say thank you for all the work they do.
In addition to this, if anyone that reads this has been diagnosed (or knows someone), and you want to have a chat with someone that has gone through the process, I would be very happy to share my experiences. It can be a scary place, and so, the more knowledge you have, the more prepared you will be. There is a lot of information out there - it is just a question of finding it. Just get in touch by what's app or email and we can set up a time.
