I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Abigail's Footsteps, a baby loss charity that helped my wife Eileen and I from August 2023 when we sadly experienced the stillbirth of our baby.

The charity provides bereavement training to maternity staff, facilities and equipment including cold cots to hospitals, and counselling for parents & families going through loss.

Abigail's Footsteps happened to be partnered with our hospital, Kings College Hospital London, and we feel very fortunate to have been given the resulting high level of care and attention during our extended stay in the maternity ward and recovery. We were also introduced to one of the charity's counsellors, who supported us immeasurably and helped us get back on our feet over the months afterwards.

I now have the opportunity to run and raise money for this amazing charity, to contribute to them continuing their important support and services for those that find themselves in such a situation, and I'd very much appreciate any sponsorship for my fundraising challenge.
