Friends, you may not know this but for many years I was a borderline semi - professional wedding / party dancer.* Just add booze and some tunes and I was off. In 2010 I reluctantly hung up my dancing boots due to complaints from the local council and the RSPCA and I feared I would never gyrate those hips again. However, after a last minute appeal to the prime minister of Zimbabwe and NATO, I have been given one last dance and what better occasion to get back on the floor than the amazing 'Pendleside Does Strictly' event, to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice, who are aiming to raise £50,000 to fund care for my friends, colleagues and neighbours diagnosed with life limiting illnesses.
