Story
Rob and Ali will be taking on the National Three Peak 24 hour Challenge to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. This incredible charity is a cause that both Rob and Ali are passionate about, as they want to help improve outcomes for those affected by this devastating condition.
In July 2017, Rob was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, which was successfully removed in August 2017 thanks to the expertise of the surgeons at the Southampton Wessex Neurological Centre at Southampton General Hospital. Rob's experience has inspired him to give back by raising funds for Brain Tumour Research, an organisation that is dedicated to finding a cure for brain tumours.
The UK National Three Peak Challenge is an enormous physical and mental test, as Rob and Ali aim to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours. However, they are both determined to complete the challenge and raise funds for this vital cause.
Every year, around 16,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with a brain tumour, and many sadly lose their lives to this disease. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
The money raised by Rob and Ali will go directly to support Brain Tumour Research's research, which is aimed at improving outcomes for patients and finding a cure.
We would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer to help Rob and Ali reach their fundraising goal. Whether you can donate a small or large amount, every contribution will make a genuine difference. Together, we can help find a cure for brain tumours and ensure that future patients have the best possible chance of recovery.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Rob & Ali
