Story
I will be completing a series of endurance events to raise money for mental health across the country throughout 2024.
In September 2023 I completed 30 Marathons in 30 days with only 1 month's notice. Within that month I managed to have interviews on multiple radio and news outlets including Radio Gloucestershire, Bristol and 5 Live - discussing the impact of mental health and spreading as much awareness as possible. With an initial target of £1000, I managed to raise £2700 in total in just a few weeks. While not the largest donation, the press coverage alone, I felt, was incredible and exceeded my expectations.
Now I'm looking to improve on my previous (short) campaign by being more organised, creating momentum and just being more thorough in my approach.
Campaign Details:
From competing in an extreme Ironman Event, The Celtman (June 15th) and running a 105-mile ultra-marathon (August 31st) to seeing the year out with 100 Marathons in 100 days (October 27th), the aim here is to spread as much awareness as possible throughout 2024. Now my job is to make sure I can finish these events as well as having a calendar of social media posts/campaigning across the year.
I will be working with The Regency Clinic and various other sponsors to make sure I make it over the finish line.
What You Can Do?
From the great success I had back in September, I'm just appealing to you all to donate what you can and to share, like and comment on everything that I do. I couldn't have done it last time without your support so I'm banking on it now!
