Story

200 Miles in 200 hours for 200 years !

For the RNLI's 200th anniversary The Denbighshire Lifeguards, are excited to take on an extraordinary challenge to celebrate an remarkable milestone. As a team we will be swimming 200 miles in 200 hours.

The event will be taking place on 24th - 31st August.

Why We Need Your Support:

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has been saving lives at sea since 1824. This incredible organisation relies on the dedication and bravery of volunteers and the generosity of the public. Over the past 200 years, the RNLI has saved countless lives, all thanks to ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Now, as we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we need your help to ensure that the RNLI can continue its lifesaving work for many more years to come.

Our Challenge:

Event: Swim 200 miles collectively as a team.

When: 24-31st August (200 hours).

Where: (open water/pool swim)

How: Each lifeguard will contribute to the 200 miles (on average each Lifeguard will swim 1.5 miles a day)

How You Can Help:

We are asking for your support to help us reach our fundraising goal. Your donations will directly contribute to the RNLI, ensuring we can continue our vital work. No matter the size of the donation you can give, every little helps towards saving lives at sea.

Join Us in Making a Difference:

200 years is a significant milestone, and we are proud to be part of this legacy. By supporting our challenge, you are joining a community of lifesavers and making a tangible impact on the RNLI’s future. Let's come together and show what we can achieve when we support one another.

Thank you for your generosity and for standing beside us in this incredible journey. Together, we can celebrate 200 years of lifesaving and ensure the RNLI continues to protect lives at sea for many more years to come.
