Mayday Stationary Cycling Challenge - 200 miles, 5 May 2024
Fundraising in North Wales for RNLI in 2024

Story

Crew members from Conwy Lifeboat Station in North Wales will be cycling 200 miles on a stationary exercise bike outside the station on Sunday, May 5th 2024.

200 miles is the distance between Conwy and Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. What a fantastic way to celebrate the RNLI's Mayday campaign and all the money raised on this page will be restricted to Conwy Lifeboat Station.

The average lifeboat station in Wales, North West England and the Isle of Man costs £155,000 to run. We are asking all our friends and communities to donate what they can to support the cyclists and to keep our Lifeboat running.

From Silloth around the coast to Penarth and across the water on the Isle of Man, we will always be there to keep you and your loved ones safe, on our watch, there will be no preventable deaths on our coasts. Please help us fulfil that mission.

Up to 20 crew members will be taking part and the training is in full swing. If you'd like to show your support to the crew at Conwy Lifeboat Station, any donations would be much appreciated.

Thank you / Diolch yn fawr

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
