Reading Knights Cheerleaders are teaming up with Reading University Womens Football Club to run, walk or cycle 2000 miles over the month of November with the aim to raise £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support💚

Macmillan provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their experience. They provide emotional, practical, physical, and financial support to help people understand their cancer diagnosis and treatment options, and support their families through the experience too. Macmillan are 98% funded by voluntary donations, so fundraising is essential for them to be able to deliver the vital support people living with cancer need.

At RKC and RUWFC, we all feel very close to this charity, with many of us having family or friends who have been diagnosed with cancer. We want to be able to give back to a charity who have supported our loved ones and help them to continue their research, care and campaigns to keep changing lives for the better.
