On Saturday 28th September members of staff from the Scottish Ambulance Service will be teaming up with Whiteleys Rereat to take part in the, "River Ayr Way in a day" challenge. This will involve two teams each doing a stage of the 44 mile route following the river Ayr from its source at Glenbuck Loch to the sea at Ayr.

Whiteleys Retreat is a local charity providing free therapeutic respite breaks and extended support for children, young people and their families living with cancer or a life altering illness across Scotland.

All funds raised will go towards continuing to fund these vital breaks and help run Aoife's Sensory Bus at Whiteleys.
