Story

Big Johns Promotion Bike Ride Tour

Charity bike ride in memory of my Dad, John Humphreys who passed away last year.

As a family we will never be able to thank the amazing people at St Luke’s enough for the love and care they showed Dad.

Whilst sitting with Dad in his final days I wanted to think of a way to raise money and awareness for this brilliant charity.

So on the 23rd of June 2023 my friends and I will be embarking on a huge bike ride.

Starting at Bramall Lane and St Luke’s Sheffield we will visit all the football grounds John watched Sheffield United gain promotion at.

Darlington 1982

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1989

Leicester City 1990

The challenge will be Approx 500 miles over 5 days.

approx 23000 ft of climbing.

Please join us for any of this promotion bike ride, short or long stints.

Ride to raise money and awareness for the amazing St Luke’s hospice in Sheffield.
