Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We hope this message finds you well and filled with the spirit of giving. Today, we are thrilled to reach out to you on behalf of Splunk, as we continue on a special fundraising campaign in support of Children's Hospice South West. We invite you to join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in need.

At Splunk, we believe that corporate responsibility extends beyond the products and services we provide. We are dedicated to using our resources, influence, and passionate employee community to make a positive difference in the world. That's why we have chosen to partner with Children's Hospice South West, a remarkable organisation that provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Children's Hospice South West is renowned for their compassionate approach, offering respite, end-of-life care, and bereavement support to those facing unimaginable challenges. Their tireless efforts go beyond medical care, providing a nurturing and uplifting environment that allows children to live their lives to the fullest. By supporting this incredible charity, we are collectively helping to create precious moments and treasured memories for children and their families during difficult times.

Now, more than ever, Children's Hospice South West needs our support. As Splunkers, we firmly believe in the power of community and the collective impact we can make when we come together for a common cause.

Therefore, we are continuing on on a fundraising campaign to rally our employees, partners, and valued stakeholders in support of Children's Hospice South West. Following on from the challenging charity ride down the West coast of the United Kingdom in 2021, this event is to ‘close-the-loop’ on the United Kingdom, navigating the South and East coastal roads, through 33 English and Scottish Counties, from Land’s End to John O’Groats. The route avoids motorways and main bridges over coastal inlets and river mouths. This route covers ~2000 miles over 4 days.

I invite you to be a part of this incredible initiative and help us bring smiles, joy, and comfort to children and families facing unimaginable circumstances. Your contribution, whether through a financial donation, volunteering your time, or spreading awareness, will make a profound difference in the lives of those in need.

To learn more about our fundraising campaign for Children's Hospice South West and explore ways in which you can contribute, I encourage you to contact Owen Trimble (otrimble@splunk.com), Mark Brown (mbrown@splunk.com) or John Murdoch (jmurdoch@splunk.com). Together, let's make a lasting impact and bring hope and happiness to the lives of these courageous children and their families.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. We are immensely grateful for your support, and we look forward to joining forces with you in this noble cause.

With warm regards,

Owen Trimble, Mark Brown and John Murdoch
