I hadn't planned on running my first 50K Ultra Marathon for charity, it was just a personal challenge I decided on boxing day! However, a family friend recently needed the support of Beatson and I know what an amazing charity they are so if I can help raise some funds through doing this as well I'd be really happy.

It's been 20 weeks of training, juggling work, family, running, injuries, at times I wasn't even sure I would be able to take part but it's happening and I will crawl over the finish line if I have to. If you had a few pounds to spare and a message to keep me going I'd really appreciate it and I know the money will go to help people who really need it. Race is 7th May.
