We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

So Callum and I are joining 18 other colleagues from Wirtgen Limited to haul our asses over the three highest peaks in the British Isles within 24 hours in May. Having completed all the training walks, and going up Snowdon the size of the task is not to be underestimated. Any support will be greatly appreciated by the boy and myself.

A team of 20 people are hiking the National 3 Peaks challenge (Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon) on 18-19 May 2024 to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Everyone has committed to their training for the event, which in itself is no mean feat, including 3 training days in the Peak District, Yorkshire and Wales in the upcoming months.

A little information about the British Heart Foundation... the BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.

£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so any donations would be gratefully received.
