Wishes 4 Kids was launched in 2002 with the object of granting a 'wish' for Leicestershire children of eighteen years and below who are life-limited, terminally ill, have suffered severe mental / physical / emotional trauma, those who have been abused and those diagnosed as HIV positive.

Story

It's been a while since I've done something stupid, so figure the time is right for this. I'm abseiling down the National Lift Testing Centre Tower to raise money for Wishes 4 Kids. When I signed up for this, I thought it would just be down the size of fairly normal sized building. And then I went to Northampton. And saw it. It's flipping huuuge. And apparently the tallest building normal people can abseil down. But it's for a good cause, so the fact that I'm bricking it doesn't matter, because Wishes 4 Kids is a fantastic charity, doing great work granting wishes to terminally ill kids and those who have experienced life changing trauma. So if you have a few spare pounds, please sponsor me to help the charity continue doing their very important work.
