Story

Seven years ago when my father was dying of cancer, my family and I were very grateful for the amazing care provided by Princess Alice Hospice. They are an outstanding charity and I feel deeply indebted to them for the care they provided to Dad, and the support they provided to me and the family during his final days.

In recent years I have got interested in and started to enjoy running, and improving my strength and conditioning. I’ve always been curious about the challenge of running a marathon, but never had the courage to try.

When I heard that Princess Alice Hospice were looking for candidates to run the London Marathon and raise money, it seemed like a great opportunity to raise money for them and undertake a huge physical challenge.

Please please please, kindly give generously to this excellent cause and sponsor me. I’ve undertaken to get up pre dawn and train and run most days for the next 7 months to condition my body to run 26.2 miles in a respectable time, and raise in excess of £5000 for this deserving and wonderful charity to which I feel indebted. I really appreciate you digging deep and helping me get the job done. Let’s go 💪
