Story

'What's Next?' That was the question after my 84 at 84 charity challenge last summer (that's 84 miles aged 84, completed in 5½ days for Dementia UK). Now 85, I aim to walk or jog a total distance to equal the 143 mile length of the River Great Ouse by 31st October.

My church, St Mary's Buckden, have nominated both Waterways Chaplaincy and Church Army for support during September and October. Half the funds raised through this page are to be retained by Church Army to support their work with young people in Ipswich and the other goes to Waterways Chaplaincy.

Please add a little to the funds already donated so generously. Your support will enable help where it is most needed. Thank you all, especially for surpassing the recently increased £1000 target.

Richard Noble.
