We are doing the October Dog Walking Challenge with our 4 Dogs!

I'm taking part in the October Dog Walking Challenge to support families facing dementia.
What an awful disease for the individual and also for the families, to watch their loved ones slip away in front of them.
I am doing this for my Mum, thankfully not suffering with Dementia but is slipping away from me and our family.
So, I want to give something back, be proud of something & create new memories.
We have four dogs, Buddy, Hugo & Martha. New recruit Rex.
Rex will do every step with me as will my wife Sarah. The pugs will help of course.
Love from us!
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
