Story
Back in April 2021 Kirsty was being monitored during the pregnancy of our little daughter Bella. There were concerns and it appeared Bella wasn’t very happy in the tummy. So we made the decision to have her born via emergency caesarean which turned out to be the correct decision given that she was born blue.
Bella required some help straight after birth and was subsequently transferred to the Bristol NICU at St Michaels Children’s Hospital.
And now the reason for my fundraiser. The charity run Cots for Tots were amazing to us. They provided a room for us in a shared house less that a 5 minutes walk from Bella’s bedside. £20 on arrival and stay as long as you need. There was another family in the house that had been there for over 160 days!
So I’m running the Bristol 10K in an effort to raise much needed funds for this amazing charity that will always be close to my heart. Bella is now a very healthy, happy, courageous beautiful little soul but plenty of family’s will need their help - just as we did. They supported us when we needed them most.
Please if you have read this then sponsor me however little. It will really help others. Thank you. ❤️
