British Asian Trust's Most Exotic Bicycle Tour Goa

Fundraising for British Asian Trust
My 2024 swimming challenge has just finished – so it’s time to do something else that I really do not like. Cycling. I had a Chopper with stabilisers when I was a teenager, fell off when I hit a brick and ended up in hospital for 10 days. I hate cycling as much as I hate swimming.
So I’m doing a cycling challenge!
In early February I will be taking part in The Most Exotic Bicycle Tour - which will see me cycle over 250km along the coast of Goa, India, over 4 days. Together with a group of passionate supporters of the British Asian Trust, we will be raising funds for our incredible programmes that prevent children being trafficked in South Asia.
I was training over Christmas in icy temperatures and had no idea that toes could freeze whilst cycling. Or that cyclists all do this weird nod and grunt when they pass each other on a road. Or how much pleasure it can be annoying terrible drivers.
Anyway - I am hugely grateful for any support I receive. It will be both very motivating and help us raise a load of money for some amazing programmes with some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
And thank you so much to the Lady Fatemah Trust who have kindly agreed to match fund up to £10,000 that I raise.
Thank you.
