In July 2022 my 13 year old daughter was rushed to Addenbrooke’s with a growth on her brain. The treatment and care she received and the support and kindness that every member of staff gave us was truly amazing. I vowed when I stood in the recovery room watching her laugh, joke and sing with the nurses (yes she had them all singing Mama Mia songs) after her surgery that I would do something to thank the staff for treating us all with such care and dignity and most importantly for making her better. She is now fully recovered (whilst still having regular check ups) back playing sport better than ever and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She has dealt with everything from start to finish with humour and strength beyond her years. I can honestly say that whatever, I do and raise it will not come close to the gratitude I have for the Addenbrooke’s team
