Story
It was relatively easy to convince me to sign up for the London to Brighton bike ride, as I like nothing better than spinning the pedals on a Sunday morning, a jaunt to the coast is always welcome and if I can raise some money for a good local cause, then all the better.
Age UK Tunbridge Wells firmly believes that ageing is a natural part of life, and the later years of our lives should continue to be fulfilling, productive and enjoyable.
- 17% increase in people aged 65 years and over in the last 10 years (Kent).
- 19% of the population in Tunbridge Wells are aged 65+.
- In April 2021 our historical core grant funding from Kent County Council (KCC) ceased.
As an independent charity that is governed and managed by people from the local community, the charity replies on our support to keep serving our community.
