Prostate Cancer UK's legendary team of runners embarking on a unique charity run through the capital city. It's a run like no other: 13.1 miles where every step brings us closer to a world where no man dies of prostate cancer.

Story

Being a man of a certain age, and having friends who have either been treated or sadly died of Prostate cancer, I felt I wanted to raise money for this excellent cause. At 63 and with tired, aging limbs I felt I had one more run in me to try and raise this money. I felt this particularly appropriate as a close friend, who died of prostate cancer about 18 months ago, was the same age as me and was a runner - and what he would have given to be able to take part in the London Landmark Half Marathon.

Training so far is going well and all is set to drag my body around the half marathon on 6 April 2025.
