Story

The Clarks Village team have decided to complete a sponsored trek from Cribbs Causeway to Clarks Village, both of these sites are run by Incentive FM. The walk is a total of 50 kilometres and eight members of the team are going to walk the route.

The walk involves going through places like Bristol Downs, underneath Clifton Suspension Bridge, Somerset Levels and I'm sure these magnificent sights will keep us all motivated on this tough trek.

The team are training really hard for this trek, which I’m sure is going to test each and every one of us.

We are of course doing this 100% for our chosen charity - Scotty's Little Soldiers.

Scotty's Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent, who served in the British Armed Forces.

Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott following the death of her husband Cpl Lee Scott in Afghanistan in 2009, the charity is currently providing assistance to hundreds of bereaved Forces children around the UK.

Scotty's provide help and support to bereaved military children and young people aged 0-25, through four Family Programmes; Smiles, Support, Strides and Springboard. You can find out more on the programmes by heading over to their website. https://www.scottyslittlesoldiers.co.uk
