On 29th September 2024, myself, my partner Francesco, and my mum Tanya will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for the Nottingham Children’s and Young People’s Rheumatology Service.

UPDATE MAY 2024 - Connor (13), Jack (10), Issy (10), and Saskia (9) will be running the Robin Hood Mini Marathon supported by Peter (30) and David (old). They will be joining our team to raise money for Saskia’s wonderful hospital team.

UPDATE JULY 2024 - My little sister, Jasmine(13), has joined the team and will be completing the mini marathon.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024 - Saskia will be completing the mini with a broken wrist. She’s very proud of this.

My daughter Saskia (9) was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis at 3 years old. She has been treated by the amazing team at QMC, who have gone above and beyond over the years to give Saskia the best care possible.

We wish to raise money for the team and awareness of rheumatological conditions in children. These diseases are often invisible, with many people believing that only older people are affected. In fact, they affect 1 in 1000 children and young people. The conditions are often painful and debilitating, greatly affecting the lives of the children.
