Story

Welcome to my fundraising page!

In April I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for the North London Hospice.

The North London Hospice are dedicated to providing the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone. They enhance the quality of life for patients and their families. In 2019, my Dad, sister, Nan and I experienced this first-hand when the nurses from North London Hospice came to our home to look after my mum in her final days after a fierce five and a half years battling breast cancer. Because of the incredible nurses and the care they provide, my mum could stay at home with us.

Three years later in 2022, my sister Ella's best friend, Cob, was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Within weeks, she was admitted to the North London Hospice centre in Finchley where they took care of both Cob and her loved ones.

At the end of last year, I nominated the North London Hospice to be our company's charity of the year. This means that all the funds raised through various activities throughout the year will be donated to the hospice. To support my nomination, I shared my story which was a difficult experience, but I knew any money raised could make a meaningful difference to family and friends like mine.

Next thing I know, myself and four amazing colleagues, Ella, Emily, Michael and Alex signed up for a half marathon! We will be actively fundraising leading up to running the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

We greatly appreciate any contributions to this incredible cause.
