ResourceBank team walking 228 miles on Blue Monday

Staff from ResourceBank will be walking 228 miles in one day – the distance from Telford to Henley-on-Thames and back again – in aid of the Bold in Blue campaign for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust and Action Medical Research.

We will start at 10am on Monday 15 January and take it in turns to walk for half an hour to cover the 228 miles virtually before 10am on Tuesday 16 January. We think it will mean 3 members of staff walking at any one time at an average of 3 miles an hour – and fingers crossed on the weather!

Blue Monday (15 January 2024) is said to be the most depressing day of the year. This year the MS Trust is bringing together the MS community for the “Be Bold in Blue” campaign. We have colleagues affected by MS so we are 100% committed in support of this campaign.

This is the third year for ResourceBank’s Blue Monday event (following rowing in 2022 and cycling in 2023) and we are focused on making this the most inclusive and successful event.
