On the 26th July 2021, FC Sporting Sale Under 14s held their annual presentation to celebrate promotion to Division One. It was a typically joyous occasion for all the squad. Within 48 hours we had lost our dear teammate Yasal after suffering a brain haemorrhage. We were absolutely heartbroken and vowed to do everything we could to keep his memory alive. On the 26th May the squad, coaches and some of the parents will run the Manchester 10k for Yasal’s family’s nominated charity, The Brain Charity, which helps people affected by all forms of neurological condition to lead longer, healthier, happier lives.

There are more than 600 conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system. They are the only charity in the UK to support every single one.

Each year, they provide practical help, emotional support, and social activities to thousands of people from all over the UK and their family, friends, and carers.
