Story
This September, me and my brother are joining forces to run the Great North Run in support of our Mum. Last year, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after months of tests and waiting. As a family, we have been navigating a new situation and can not think of a better charity to show our love and support for our mum.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.
The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS.
Every year they reach thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community. And they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
