Support me and my fellow colleagues, in this year's staff challenge as we take on Snowdon on Friday 20th September - some will climb it once, some will climb it twice and others will cycle the hilly mountain passes around it!

I am taking part as I would like to challenge myself to do something I have never done before and as a busy working mum haven't had all that much time to train for either. Joining the staff challenge gives me a chance to talk to my friends about this amazing organisation I have been working for over the last 14 years and really believe in. I also get to explain to my little girls that there are millions of children around the world who are a lot less fortunate than they are and go to bed hungry.

World Vision has a 70-year history of taking action that transforms the world. Our focus is on supporting children, living in the world's most dangerous places, overcome poverty and experience fullness of life.

Every 60 seconds … a family gets water … a hungry child is fed … a family receives the tools to overcome poverty.
