Story

As most of you will be aware, we lost our little boy in May after a very short battle with a malignant brain tumour. The support we received from friends and family during this time has been nothing short of incredible.

We have raised nearly £15,000 in Ruben's memory, and that page will shortly be closed. Thank you to every single person who donated, myself and Charlotte can categorically say that the money is going to a very special place that deserve every penny they get.

With Ruben's birthday coming up in September, we have decided we want to start doing an event around this time of year, every year going forward in his memory. This will be the first of many to come in the future.

We will be walking from our home in Droitwich, to Birmingham Childrens Hospital on Saturday 7th September. The route will be all canal walking, and around 26 miles in length. Though we want to again, raise as much money as possible for this incredible cause and place, this is mostly about remembering our beautiful son on what should have been his 2nd birthday.

All are welcome, and if you have any interest in joining us on the day, please drop me a message. We want to get as many people as possible joining us on this journey.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
