Story
Red Squirrel Awareness Week has ended, but we are still giving you the opportunity to help us with the naming of our first three female squirrels.
🐿🐿🐿
Red Squirrel Awareness Week (30 September - 06 October) is dedicated to increasing awareness of and action for UK red squirrels and their conservation.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary will take part in a managed captive breeding programme, and help protect the future of red squirrels. We are currently completing the final two enclosures, and getting them ready for new inhabitants.
For a small donation, you can enter our naming competition, and have the chance to name one of our squirrels. Please feel free to send in multiple squirrely name suggestions, after all we do have three squirrels all looking for suitable names.
To enter, simply donate a minimum of £1 (per name) and enter your female/ unisex name suggestions in the 'Add message to your donation' box on the JustGiving website.
The winning names will be announced at the end of October. Your donation will be much appreciated and will contribute toward the running of the Sanctuary, and help towards the costs involved in furnishing our squirrel enclosures.
Our aim is to reach the fundraising target of £500, so please help, and THANK YOU for your support!
*All valid entries must include a donation, and entries will close on the 31st October 2024. The winners will be announced on our social media channels shortly thereafter. Suffolk Owl Sanctuary reserves the right to void any entries at our discretion.
