Story
Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page in support of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).
On Wednesday 8th November 2023, a team of us will run the 58km (ish) from the Redhill base of KSS to the Rochester base - all in one day!!!
The biggest distance ever run for most of us, we will leave Redhill by 8am and try to get to Rochester by 5pm (with a pub lunch at The George & Dragon in Ightham).
With around 3000 feet of climbing, this is going to possibly be the hardest run any of us will ever undertake.
The charity is very close to many of us with a fellow parkrunner having a cardiac arrest on March 4th 2023 and us needing to call out the air ambulance. Thankfully Martyn lived to tell the tale!
KSS is an independent charity. It costs over £16.6M a year to sustain their world-leading, cutting edge, innovative service and amazingly 87% is donated and raised by the people of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Your donation means KSS can continue to provide the best care at the worst of times for their patients, and stay at the forefront of pre-hospital critical care.
