People on Reddit in Arizona don't agree on much, but we're betting a good cause can bring them together. So we're launching this fundraiser to support the Arizona Humane Society, which helps so many of our furry, feathered, and scaly friends.

Why the AZ Humane Society?

Animals do so much for us and ask so little in return, but there are hundreds of pets out there every day in need of help, medical attention, or a loving home. The AZ Humane Society not only adopts pets directly but they work with other shelters around the state. They also offer veterinary care, seek justice for abused animals, and help people who are struggling financially to keep their pets. You can learn more about their programs here.

Reddit is matching our donations!

We are doing this as part of a Reddit Community Drive, so Reddit will be matching up to $20,000 in donations received until Sunday, March 23. This is an incredible chance to help animals who need it.

We will also be doing an AMA with the AZ Humane Society in the r/phoenix subreddit, and possibly organizing a volunteer day so check it out if you would like to get more involved.
