Story
On 7 September 2023 the pavillion of our wonderful Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club (est. 1863) was destroyed by fire. This year we are celebrating our 160th birthday.
So much more than just a building, this was the heart of our Club, a community facility and was loved by all our members, including 100s of juniors from U8s through to U17s plus 5 adult teams. We are also home to @QuinsAmsRugby, and our loss is as much theirs.
To help Get Sport Back at the Wick, we are walking 18.63km from the Oval to the Wick. We are Sabine, Elin and Lucy, the wives and mums of passionate Club members and this news has been devastating.
We hope to raise funds to:
- Build a bigger and better clubhouse with modern facilities.
- Provide changing rooms and shower facilities for girls and women (an afterthought in our old pavillion), supporting our Club-wide policy of encouraging girls into cricket.

- Help with interim costs of temporary structures.
Any support you feel you can give us is hugely appreciated. With love and thanks xx
