My name is Ibrahim El Khalil, and I’m a self-taught backend software engineer with 7 years of experience, having worked across Algeria, Indonesia, Turkey, and now the UAE.

I come from a very humble background. Life hasn’t been easy—I had to fight for every bit of knowledge and opportunity. I once built a full 6-axis robotic arm as a final project and scored the highest in my institute, but I was pushed aside due to nepotism. Still, I kept moving.

When I moved to Dubai, it felt like I finally found light. I was excelling in my work and health—I went from 68kg to 85kg with dedication. I even became a father to a beautiful daughter. But soon after, financial pressure began to mount. I took on debts to support my family, and as the stress grew, I lost my stability: my marriage fell apart, I lost my job, and I stopped training. Darkness returned.

I’m now rebuilding. I found a potential job in a close city and I’m trying to learn again, stay active, and get my life on track with the support of a kind woman who hosts me in Dubai. But I need a motorcycle—my dream and my practical solution. It’s my ticket to reach work, to save money on transport, and most importantly, to find a bit of joy and mental release through the rides.

I am asking for 30,000 AED (~10.000 USD) to help me purchase a reliable touring bike. This is not just about transport—it’s about dignity, mental health, and staying strong for my daughter. I miss her deeply and I want to be in a position to visit her soon.
