We are taking part in Operation Dreamland!

We are joining a team to run/walk around the borders of Kenya (only in laps of a lake Windsor!). We want to raise funds for equipment for the newly built operating theatre at Dreamland Mission Hospital. There is a major urgent need currently emergency surgeries are being referred. There is major need for safe maternity care, and for those having C-sections to be able to access theatre immediately.

Why is this project important?

Increased demand for surgery: The number of surgeries performed at Dreamland Hospital has increased dramatically in recent years. DMH simply does not have the space to meet this demand safely.

Limited theatre space: Currently, surgeons have to choose between performing essential surgeries for children and providing safe emergency deliveries for mothers. This is a difficult and unfair choice.

Saving lives: A new operating theatre will allow DMH to perform more life-saving surgeries, including C-sections, complex gynecological procedures, and advanced orthopedic surgery.
