In 2019 NNUH became the second NHS Trust in the UK to introduce Butterfly Volunteers, supporting patients at the end of their lives and enabling those who die in our hospital to have as good a death as possible.

Story

On the 24th June I will be doing a Sky Dive to raise money for the Butterfly Nurses, who looked after my dear Dad and our family in his final days.

Whilst the NHS provides the necessities, our hospital charity funds projects that make the hospital experience a better one for our patients, visitors and staff. All donations are used where they are needed most across our hospitals to support the best possible care for patients. Thank you.
