Story

On the 30th June Adecco Stoke will be taking on the gruelling walk up Scafell Pike, in a bid to raise money for charity. Scafell Pike is one of the highest mountains in England to climb and takes around 4 hours to complete.

Our chosen charity this year is the Staffordshire Children's Hospital, located at the Royal Stoke Hospital. They provide a dedicated children's emergency centre, intensive care unit with wards and an outpatients facility. The staff provide an outstanding service for young patients covering a wide range of services from injuries, childhood problems to serious health conditions and complex needs. Ensuring that all patients have access to specialist clinical teams and expertise.

Their focus is making sure young patients are at the heart of everything they do and have everything needed to make sure they and their families feel as welcome and comfortable as possible, offering indoor and outdoor play areas, classrooms, cafes and coffee shops are all provided and have facilities which cater for children from across this area and beyond.

All donations would be hugely appreciated and all funds will be donated the Staffordshire Children's Hospital.
