Story

The University of Liverpool's new Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) Fund has been set up to support ground-breaking research into immunotherapy, a promising new treatment for glioblastoma.

I'll be running the Manchester half-marathon in May to raise money for research into treatment for glioblastoma. Glioblastomas are aggressive brain tumours which currently have limited treatment options with an average prognosis of 14 months following diagnosis.

As many of you will know, this is a topic which is particularly important to me.

For the past few years, running has been a great outlet for me and has helped me to cope with life's stressors and unpredictability. Over the last 6 months this has become even more significant.

Any donation will be much appreciated. Thank you for your help :))
