Thank you so much for supporting Team Cav for the Sheffield Half Marathon 2024, every penny raised will be vital for us supporting local cancer patients and their families.

Cavendish Cancer Care is a local independent charity that for more than 30 years has been providing free of charge support packages to cancer patients and their families. We believe that no-one should face a cancer diagnosis alone so we provide care and support to alleviate the physical and psychological effects that cancer and its treatments brings.

We receive just enough government funding to keep our doors open for two weeks each year. We rely on the support of people like you to be here for all those who need us, at what is one of the most frightening times of their lives.

I will be running in memory of my wonderful friend Louise who sadly passed away in April 2017. Cavendish were able to help Lou and as a thank you I want to continue supporting their amazing work. This will be a tough challenge for me as 2023 was the year I fell out of love with running!
