Memory Walk 2024
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Home Instead Nottingham, Ilkeston, and West Bridgford are proud to announce our very own Alzheimer's Memory Walk 2024, dedicated to the memory of all past and present clients. On 12th October at 10.30am, we will embark on a heartfelt 7.5-mile journey, starting from our Ilkeston office and concluding at our Nottingham office. Our dedicated care team of key players and Care Professionals will join us in this meaningful event.

Walking with Purpose

Home Instead has been instrumental in supporting countless clients and their families, helping them live well with Dementia. This walk is more than just a physical challenge; it's a tribute to the incredible individuals we've had the honour to care for and a pledge to continue our mission for those we will serve in the future.

The Route

Start: Home Instead Ilkeston Office

Distance: 7.5 miles

Finish: Home Instead Ilkeston and Hucknall office

As we walk this route, we remember the courage and resilience of our clients and their families. Every step is a testament to the impact of our care and the importance of community support.

How You Can Support

We invite everyone to support our Alzheimer's Memory Walk in any way possible.

Join Us on the Walk: Walk alongside our team and show your support.

Cheer Us On: Encourage us along the route with your presence and enthusiasm.

The Impact of Your Support

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.

Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you don't need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise. So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk
