Story

Three years ago, I became a Community First Responder in Telford. We are only a small team, and many people are surprised to find out that we are self-funded, relying entirely donations to ensure that we can continue to offer our service.

With this in mind, I have decided to set myself a challenge to raise money for the Telford Community First Responders team.

Every day in February, I will complete a cold water swim in local lakes, pools and rivers. Although I am an experienced cold water swimmer, this will be a huge challenge for me - the water temperature is in single figures and swimming every day will be difficult to manage, but I’m determined to succeed and raise as much money as possible!
